Hardiness | Texas Zones 6-9 |
Leaf Type | Deciduous |

Soil Needs | Native to rich limestone clay; adaptable to poorer soils and lower moisture levels |

Attributes | Texas native; showy fruit attracts squirrels and other small mammals. Has few pest/disease problems. |
Features | Wood is a characteristic orange and is extremely resistant to rot |
